Man arrested in Albany after foot chase involving gun

A man is under arrest in Albany County, after the sheriff says he led deputies on a car chase and fired a handgun as he got out of his car and ran.
Investigators tried to stop Tony Simmons near First Street and Henry Johnson Boulevard on Friday morning.
They say he led them on a chase, until he got out and took off running and fired a gun.
He was being arraigned in Albany City Court Friday on a list of charges.
