One person has been arrested in connection with a bomb threat at Mont Pleasant Middle School in Schenectady on Monday morning.

That person – a juvenile – is now charged with falsely reporting an incident and making a terroristic threat. Their name is not being released, due to their age.

Students were redirected to other buildings in the city school district Monday morning while police investigated the threat.

Officers and K-9 units conducted a thorough search of the middle school. They were assisted by officers from the Schenectady and Albany County sheriff’s departments and the Albany Police Department.
