Rensselaer County man facing child porn, weapons charges

A man from Rensselaer County is facing child pornography and weapons charges.

State police arrested 28-year-old Shane Savaria of Pittstown.

The investigation started after police say they got a tip he had inappropriate images of children.

Police say through a search warrant, they found four rifles and 36 high capacity magazines that are illegal in New York.
