Police: Man found with loaded illegal gun on Albany street

Another illegal handgun is off the street after an arrest earlier this week.

Albany police arrested Tamir Tunnell on Tuesday in the area of Quail Street and First Street.

Police found Tunnell with a loaded handgun in his waistband, they said. The gun was recovered.

Tunnell is facing one count of weapon possession and is currently in jail.
