A state agency spokesperson – and former top aide to Gov. Kathy Hochul – is accused of drunken driving in connection with a Colonie crash.
Haley Viccaro was arrested last Monday in a crash involving property damage at Albany Shaker and Osborne roads on June 12.
Viccaro is currently a spokesperson for the state Department of Environmental Conservation.
She was charged with felony aggravated DWI, and has a prior DWI arrest in Colonie, the Spotlight reported.
Viccaro smashed her car into a utility pole and a fire hydrant, the New York Post reported.
NewsChannel 13 is working to confirm details with Colonie Police.
DEC said it is assessing the matter and cannot comment further at this time.
