SARATOGA SPRINGS – New York State Park Police are saying the Dead & Company concerts at SPAC on Saturday and Sunday were among the busiest—with the most crimes—they’ve ever seen.
The pictures of the illicit drugs they seized tell part of the story. Park Police confiscated LSD, cocaine, mushrooms, ketamine, meth, and nitrous oxide, including 54 tanks of the inhalant.
In all, they made about three dozen arrests.
A search of a car of one of those charged turned up $33,000 in cash.
They also arrested the driver of a mini-bus, believed to be the same driver and bus that plowed into a pedicab outside a Dead and Company concert in Chicago last week.
Park Police were also involved in the arrest of the Ballston man accused of stomping and smashing the windshields and windows of more than a dozen concertgoers’ cars.
