Police: Drugs found in car after man fled Rotterdam traffic stop

A man from Duanesburg is facing charges, accused of driving away from a traffic stop.

State Police pulled over Jesse Mchargue last Friday in Rotterdam.

He gave fake information and drove away from the traffic stop, police said.

There was a chase from I-890 to Campbell Road. Mchargue then tried to run away on foot, police say.

He was arrested, and police found drugs in his car, they said.

He is now facing a range of charges, including possession and fleeing an officer.
