Department of Consumer Protection issues hot car warning

The Department of Consumer Protection is sending out a reminder Tuesday not to leave your children or pets unattended in hot cars.

The division recommends you be vigilant about checking your back seat before you get out of your car.
If you see a child or pet unattended in a hot car- call 911 immediately.
