CDTA is celebrating one year of service in Montgomery County.

They launched a new bus service in the county last year.

It was a first-of-its-kind expansion in more than 50 years.

Total ridership on the new bus line was nearly 200,000 people, they said.

The most popular riders were students and people connecting from other services in Schenectady and Albany.

They are also announcing that the city of Amsterdam is joining its universal access program. This gives city employees unlimited ridership on all CDTA lines.
