Saratoga BLM co-founder appears in court

The co-founder of Saratoga Black Lives Matter appeared in court on Tuesday morning.

Lexis Figuereo is facing charges after he disrupted a Saratoga Springs City Council meeting back in April, police said.

Figuereo is suing the city, alleging excessive force by police during a 2020 protest.

NewsChannel 13 asked the Saratoga City Court for more information about the appearance.

All they said was that he’s due back in court next month.
