Saratoga County Fair holds special day for people with autism

When you think of the Saratoga County Fair, you might think of big crowds, rides, flashing lights, and lots of noise. However, those things aren’t always enjoyable for people with epilepsy, migraines, or who are on the autism spectrum.

So for the fourth time, the fair held “Think Differently Day,” making small changes for a few hours to offer attendees with special needs the opportunity to enjoy a sensory-sensitive morning of fun.

Assem. MaryBeth Walsh hosted the day. She says this also helps the siblings of those with disabilities, so the entire family can enjoy the fair together.
