Infection rates for COVID continue climbing in NY state

COVID cases continue to rise in New York state.

The state’s daily positivity rate is at 1.75% percent, with a 7-day average of 1.41%.

The Capital Region’s 7-day positivity rate is at 1.89%. We still have the highest positivity rate in the state.

The Mohawk Valley’s 7-day positivity rate is 0.94%.

There are 462 people in the hospital, a net increase of 38 patients.

Sadly, five New Yorkers died.
