Flooding has been a concern all around the Capital Region this past week.

In Lake George, the Howard Johnson by Wyndham hotel had five-feet of water in 12 of its rooms. The owner says the flooding comes from the Prospect Mountain Creek overflowing.

Boaters be advised the Erie Canal Lock E-2 in Waterford to Lock E-19 in Frankfort are closed because of high river flows and heavy rainfall. The Canal Corporation says it will provide updates on this throughout the week.

In Rensselaer County, clean up continues from devastating flooding. Thankfully, rain this weekend and into Monday did not impact clean-up efforts.

NewsChannel 13 was in Averill Park Monday morning where there were high water levels, but repairs that were made were still intact.

Most of the roads in the Sand Lake and Averill Park area are back open, but there are still repairs that need to be made and the county is assessing whether they can get any aid from the state or FEMA to help with costs.

All roads are back open in Pittsfield after heavy rain closed down several streets over the weekend.

City officials are still encouraging people to be cautious with wet roads.
