Capitol Roots called upon 10 people to take the "Hot Pepper Challenge."
The way it works is there’s a basket full of peppers ranging from the hottest habanero, to jalapeño, shishito, banana, and the most mild, bell pepper.
You eat a hot pepper to raise awareness and money for the organization, which works hard to bring fresh produce to neighborhoods that don’t have access to it.
See how NewsChannel 13’s Subrina Dhammi and the other nine challengers did by watching the video.
