Albany restaurant closes after 50 years in business

ALBANY – After 50 years of serving the community, Sam’s Italian Restaurant in Albany is closing its doors.
In a post on Facebook, the restaurant says they tried their best to make it through the pandemic, but now with the rising price of supplies and depleted work force, they can no longer stay open.
They thanked their customers and staff, some of whom who have worked there more than 10 years.
