A funeral for the infant who died on the General Electric campus will be held on Friday.

The service will be held at noon at the Peck and Peck Funeral Homes in Copake in Columbia County.

The 10-month-old girl was found in a pipe access area at GE. It’s believed she died from exposure and hypothermia.

Her mother, Persia Nelson, is accused of dropping her child down the 8-foot-deep pipe.

She is facing a murder charge for allegedly causing the baby’s death.
