North Adams Regional Hospital in Berkshire County will reopen to patients on Thursday. This comes 10 years to the day since the hospital closed.

The hospital will open as a critical access hospital.

Berkshire Health Systems bought the hospital after previous owner Northern Berkshire Healthcare declared bankruptcy.

The hospital held an open house three weeks ago to show off the renovations of the inpatient unit.
