Sunday is your chance to participate in the Regional Food Bank’s largest annual food drive.
More than 100 volunteers dropped off 16,000 bags to their neighbors with flyers requesting donations.
The food bank is looking for non-perishable food items and personal care essentials.
The same volunteers will return to collect the donations and deliver them to the food bank today.
They are expecting to collect more than 42,000 pounds, which is enough for nearly 35,000 meals.
If you would like to donate money, they are accepting donations.
The first $5,000 donated will be doubled.
