A 48-year-old woman was injured in an Albany shooting Monday afternoon.

A 48-year-old woman was injured in an Albany shooting Monday afternoon.

Albany Police received a report of shots fired just after 4 p.m. in the 300 block of South Pearl Street.

The woman was hit her forearm. She was treated on scene and transported to Albany Medical Center, police said.

No one is in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
