Accused baby killer’s court appearance adjourned

The man accused of killing a 6-week-old baby had his court appearance adjourned unexpectedly.

A court appearance for the man accused of killing an infant did not take place on Monday.

Anthony Ojeda was scheduled to be in Albany County Court for a conference regarding a possible plea in the case. However, the matter was unexpectedly adjourned.

Ojeda is facing charges including murder and manslaughter for the death of 6-week-old baby Eli in 2019.

Both he and his husband Neil Garzon escaped to Mexico in 2021 but were tracked down in January.

There was no word on a new date.
