Police: Amsterdam man broke into garage, stole instruments and shotgun

An Amsterdam man is accused of stealing musical instruments and a shotgun from a garage.

Christopher R. Giglio, 19, allegedly took the items from a garage in April, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.

Police found the items, and Giglio turned himself in.

He was charged with burglary and grand larceny. He was arraigned in Florida Town Court and released on his own recognizance.

The Gloversville Police Department and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office helped with the investigation.
