Two Albany men face weapons charges after traffic stop
Two Albany men are facing weapons charges after a traffic stop in Albany on Tuesday.
Deputies stopped a vehicle around 11:15 a.m. in the area of Johnson Boulevard and Livingston Avenue for a traffic violation.
The driver was 52-year-old Christian Billings and the passenger was 28-year-old Jesse Dutcher. They had a loaded and defaced 9mm semiautomatic firearm and a box of ammunition, the Albany County Sheriff's Office sad. They had no legal right to possess the weapon.

Both men were charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. They were arraigned in Albany City Court and sent to Albany County Jail.
