17th annual Ride for Missing Children begins Friday

More than 100 bicyclists riding in Capital Region to raise awareness of missing children

More than 100 bicyclists will roll out on a 100 journey to raise awareness in our area this week.

Bike riders this Friday will embark on a one-hundred-mile ride in the Capital Region, all in the name of families searching for missing loved ones.

NewsChannel13’s Ally Hoy spoke with the organizer of the event, Fred Alber, and Matt Frear, whose brother went missing 20 years ago at 17 years old, in the studio today.

The Ride for Missing Children is an annual event that raises awareness and money for the efforts to find people who are missing.
