Saratoga Springs prepares for Giant Pumpkinfest

Giant pumpkins are taking over Saratoga Springs on Saturday.

The city will have its 2024 Saratoga Giant Pumpkinfest. Farmers will show off their giant pumpkins for the coveted title of “Heaviest Pumpkin of Year.”

Some of the pumpkins could weigh more than 1,000 pounds.

The event is free for the entire family.

It kicks off at 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. at the Saratoga Springs City Center parking garage.
