Woman rescued from burning Latham home

LATHAM – A woman was rescued from a burning home in Latham.
The fire broke out at 2 Arnold Avenue Tuesday night.
The fire chief tells NewsChannel 13 two off-duty firefighters rushed into the home to save an elderly woman. She is doing okay.
One firefighter also went to the hospital but is doing ok.
The garage was destroyed. The house is not a total loss.
