As the holidays inch closer, you may want to keep an eye on your items being delivered to your home.

Audreyanna Goot, a viewer from Cohoes, sent NewsChannel 13 video of the incident.

The video shows someone walking up to her porch on Van Schaick Island and swiping several packages. The person than ran back to the car and then drove off.

“We’re like, where is the package? Like it says, it was delivered. We looked and then we noticed there’s no package out there. Like what? Where the heck is it?” said Audreyanna.

Matt Rogers lives at the home with Audreyanna and described to us the car that was used.

“It was a pretty distinct vehicle. If you look at the footage, it made a whole lot of noise. And you can see that the front driver’s side wheel is missing a hubcap, and then they have a rim on the back side,” Rogers said.

According to Audreyanna, the alleged robber came out of the passenger seat of the car and someone else was in the driver’s seat.

Audreyanna said about 100 dollars’ worth of good in the stolen packages.

She also said that this is not the only people on Van Schaick Island who have had their packages stolen.

“There’s about 4 other people out that I know, there probably is more,” said Audreyanna.

She said it looks like the same person in all the video she has seen.

Audreyanna said she filed a police report. NewsChannel 13 has also reached out to Cohoes Police to learn more about this.
