Saratoga Springs Turkey Trot sees strong support

Runners also braved the cold and snow to take part in the Christopher Dailey Foundation Turkey Trot in Saratoga Springs.

Around 3,800 people had signed up to participate, which organizers said was the biggest turnout in its 23-year history.

The 5K kicked off at the corner of Broadway and Lake Avenue and finished on the corner of Route 50 and North Broadway.

The event raised money for the nonprofit, which has supported sports and other children’s activities throughout Saratoga County.

Mark and Maria Dailey started the foundation in honor of their son Christopher, who died suddenly when he was just 8 years old.
