Albany Police investigating Sunday night shooting

Albany Police are investigating a shooting on Sunday night.

Officers responded to the area of Alexander Street and Clinton Street just before 8 p.m. They found evidence of gunfire. Police also said staff from Albany Medical Center notified them that a 20-year-old man entered the emergency room with gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

The victim is being treated at the hospital.
