A Schenectady parish gave the community a chance to buy some handmade goods at a market this weekend.

Saint Kateri parish held its fair-trade market on Union Street.

Local vendors were there to sell handmade items made by artists from all over the world.

One of the parish members told us this was started by a Guatemalan woman in Albany 30 years ago.
