Arrest made in Monday Albany shooting

An Albany man is behind bars, charged with attempted murder.
Police say 26-year-old Dontay Sawyer shot a 31-year-old man in the torso.
The shooting happened on Central Avenue near Robin Street on Monday evening.
The victim was taken to Albany Med and is expected to survive.
Sawyer is also facing charges for allegedly possessing a loaded handgun and crack cocaine.
