Poll: Just 31% of voters would re-elect Hochul

Just 31% of voters say they would re-elect Gov. Hochul next year, while 57%, including 41% of Democrats, want someone else.
Only 22% think she has improved the state’s fiscal condition over the past year, with 52%, including some Democrats, saying she hasn’t.
When asked about the governor’s budget proposals, the poll finds there’s strong support for increasing child tax credit and restricting students’ phone use in schools.
The same poll also found President Donald Trump has a 41% favorability rating in the state, which actually ties the highest it’s ever been.
