Joseph Girard III’s jersey retired at Glens Falls High School
Joseph Girard III’s jersey was retired Glens Falls High School Friday in a special cermony.
Girard led Glens Falls to it’s first state basketball title in 2019. He became New York state’s all-time leading scorer before continuing his career at Syracuse and Clemson.
Girard currently plays professionally overseas in Europe in the Lithuanian Basketball League.
He will join fellow Glens Falls basketball legend Jimmer Fredette as the only players in the city’s history to have their jerseys retired.
