Pet food pantries are empty at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.

Staff have no dry dog food to offer families that count on them to keep their pets fed and healthy, they said.

They’re encouraging people to drop off food donations at the humane society in Menands, or donate via their Amazon Wishlist.

This does not affect animals in the shelter.

This is for the struggling pet owners in the community, that rely on the humane society as a safety net.
