TROY – The city of Troy showed off its latest proposal for One Monument Square on Wednesday evening.
The presentation was the latest step in the multi-year process to redevelop the vacant area.
Officials have been working with Hoboken Brownstone Company on a plan to redevelop the former City Hall site.
"They’re utilizing what I love, the Hudson River as the front door to economic development and environmental protection of recreation. So I’m really psyched. We can make this happen, but it’s going to be a team effort," said Troy City Council President Carmella Mantello.
The design includes a building, a plaza, public space and a connection to the waterfront.
