The Capital Region still has the highest COVID infection rate in the state.
The 7-day positivity rate is at 4.72%.
There were 4,495 new cases reported from Saturday into Sunday. Sadly, another 27 people died.
The state’s daily positivity rate is 3.03%. The 7-day average is 3.31%.
There were 2,281 people reported hospitalized with the virus statewide Sunday, which was down slightly from Saturday.
Governor Hochul’s office says more than 60% of New Yorkers are now fully vaccinated.
