2 people killed in Windham crash

Two people died in a car crash on Route 23 in Windham. State police say two cars collided just after noon on Sunday.
When police arrived, they say two people had died in the crash and one person was severely injured. A helicopter was brought in to take that person to Albany Medical Center.
Route 23 was shut down for several hours while police investigated the scene.
The road is now back open.
