20,000+ fans attend last day of 2021 racing at Saratoga
SARATOGA SPRINGS – More than 20,000 racing fans turned out at Saratoga Race Course for the last day of racing ON Monday.
NYRA officials are elated over the success of the 2021 meet. It marked the return of fans, after none were allowed during the pandemic last year.

NYRA says all sources handling wagering surpassed $800 million.
The attendance once again surpassed one million racing fans.
"What we do know is this is a summer that will be long be remembered for the return of fans. Their energy, their enthusiasm, their support has made this a tremendously successful meet," said Patrick McKenna with NYRA.

This marks the sixth year, not counting the pandemic, that Saratoga has surpassed the one million fan mark.
