5-year-old recovering after being hit by car

A young boy is still recovering after being hit by a car in Troy.

He was hit Friday between 103rd and 104th streets.

The 5-year-old’s family says he was walking across the street with a relative when a car struck him. His family says he is doing well and in good spirits.

The driver did stop and is cooperating. Police continue to investigate.
