The Cannabis Control Board has approved 52 adult use Cannabis Conditional Cultivator Licenses across the state.
These are the first licenses of their kind for cannabis farms in New York state. More than a dozen of them are in the Capital Region.
The approved licenses are from a pool of more than 150 that have been submitted to the Office of Cannabis Management since it started taking applications a month ago.
