7-year-old boy shot in back, 2 adults wounded in Syracuse
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — A 7-year-old boy was shot in the back and two adults were injured in a shooting in Syracuse, police said.
The three victims were shot at 10 p.m. Monday on South Salina Street, Sgt. Matthew Malinowski told the Post-Standard of Syracuse.
The 7-year-old was critically injured by a gunshot in the back, a 42-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and shoulder and a 33-year-old woman was grazed by either a bullet or shattered glass, Malinowski said.
When officers arrived at the shooting scene they learned that the victims had left for Upstate University Hospital in a private car, police said.
Police have made no arrests.
