Albany County reports 289 new COVID cases; 2 deaths

Albany County Executive Dan McCoy says there are 289 new positive COVID cases since Monday.
Two more people in the county have died from the virus. A man in his 50s and a woman in her 60s.
There are 99 county residents currently hospitalized, a net increase of 14. Eleven of those hospital patients are in the ICU.
There are currently 3,500 active cases in the county, which is 29 less than the day before.
While the numbers remain high in the county, the daily case count has dropped each day since a high of 1,003 cases was reported on Friday.
