Albany County reports 332 new COVID cases; fewer hospitalizations
Albany County is reporting 332 new COVID cases in their Friday update.
Sadly, a woman in her 50s has died, bringing the death toll in the county to 469.
There are now 1,057 active COVID cases in the county – up from 962 the day before.
There are currently 55 people hospitalized with the virus, a net decrease of five from the day before. Five patients are in the ICU.
In a statement, County Executive Dan McCoy continues to urge people to get a booster shot and take proper precautions.
