The Albany County Legislature unanimously passed a resolution Monday night concerning water contaminants.
It would allow the water purification district to require testing for PFAS and PFOS. They can require testing from any facility that releases an discharge into the County’s wastewater treatment plant.
The legislature says it will help protect the Hudson River by allowing County Officials to address potential concerns about PFAS contamination.
