Albany Police, Mildred Elley team up again for pair of scholarships

Albany Police and Mildred Elley are teaming up once again to offer the HERO scholarship to two people who are living in the city of Albany.

HERO is an acronym for "Hope to Engage in Education to Revitalize the Opportunity in Our Community."

Mildred Elley will offer two-year programs and professional certifications.

The deadline for applications is August 23. The winners will be announced on September 13.
