Amtrak resumes service between NYC and Albany
There’s good news for Amtrak commuters!
The company resumed it’s scheduled service between New York City’s Penn Station and the Albany – Rensselaer Station Tuesday. The service was paused for several days to make repairs following Hurricane Ida.
As NewsChannel 13’s reported, areas in and around the city were devastated by Ida.
As of 5:30 a.m., trains on that line were all on time.
Amtrak says to call 800-USA-RAIL if your trip has been impacted. Amtrak says change and cancellation fees will be changed.
