A man from Ballston accused of strangling a woman went before the judge on Wednesday.

Todd Axton was arraigned Wednesday afternoon on a 13 count indictment also accusing him of possessing three loaded guns that he wasn’t supposed to have because of a prior domestic violence conviction.

Police found the guns after they were called to a Burnt Hills home in late March to investigate Axton’s alleged strangling of a woman he wasn’t supposed to have contact with.

Judge Jim Murphy sent him to jail for lack of $20,000 cash bail.
