Cairo man with hearing loss gets precious gift of sound

ALBANY – Adam Meacher was born with hearing loss and the struggles that came with it his entire life. With the help of technology, a lot changed Friday morning.
Meacher was gifted new hearing aids that use new computer chips to function like the brain.
The gift is part of HearingLife’s Campaign for Better Hearing.
They’re a bit different from the hearing aids you might be used to. The sound quality is also improved.
