Classes have resumed at the Voorheesville middle and high schools after going into hold-in-place mode Thursday morning. An announcement on the school district’s website says students and staff were kept in their classrooms after a message was found on a bathroom stall door in the middle school.
The message in the bathroom was discovered around 9:50 a.m. Police were called to investigate.
The school district posted on their site at 11:25 a.m., saying the message in the bathroom was “unsubstantiated.”
Columbia High School in East Greenbush was also locked down Thursday morning. In that case, students and staff were told to shelter in place after two bullets were found in a bathroom.
