Cohoes man facing gun, drug charges in Troy

TROY – Police in Troy tell NewsChannel 13 proactive police work led to an arrest Thursday night.
They say officers patrolling 3rd and Congress Streets got a tip that a man in the area had a gun.
When officers approached Joshua Rodriguez of Cohoes, they say he took off.
He was later caught, and police say they found him with a loaded gun, heroin, and cocaine.
Rodriguez was arrested, and charged with several weapon and drug charges, along with resisting arrest.
