COVID positivity rate is <1% across entire state
Gov. Cuomo says the COVID positivity rate is below 1% in every region of the state. The last time that happened was August 19.
The state’s daily positivity rate is 0.66%. The 7-day average is 0.51%.
The governor also said Monday that 799 people are in the hospital. A decrease of 17 people, and the first day below 800 since October 8.
Sadly, another nine people died.
The positivity rate in the Capital Region was flat at 0.61% both days this weekend.
The positivity rate in the Mohawk Valley dropped from 0.79% on Saturday to 0.74% on Sunday.
